Questions

Including the ones with awkward answers.

Licensing & legal

Is AGTrivo a lender?

No. AG Trade Services Limited sells and finances assets directly. AGTrivo is the technology platform that records and manages those agreements.

Can I invest through AGTrivo?

Not at present. AGTrivo does not hold a Nigerian SEC crowdfunding intermediary licence, so the investment marketplace is switched off and investor payments are blocked. Managed purchases of a single vehicle are different: see the Investors page at /investors.

Does AGTrivo sell insurance?

No. AGTrivo does not hold a NAICOM broker licence. Insurance policies can be recorded and tracked so cover does not lapse, but cover cannot be arranged or sold.

Does AGTrivo place riders with fleet owners?

Only within a fleet owner's own operation. AGTrivo does not hold a private employment agency licence, and an operator is never charged a placement fee.

Fees & payments

How is the collection fee calculated?

As a published percentage of what is actually collected, capped per transaction, and falling with your plan. It is taken from the fleet owner's share and never added to what a rider owes.

Are there other charges?

A monthly subscription for fleet owners. SMS receipts and payment reminders are included. Conduct fines, where they apply, are billed separately and never added to vehicle debt.

Collections & recovery

What happens if a rider stops paying?

Recovery begins with a notice and a cure period, not a repossession. Every consequential step requires a named person and a recorded reason.

Can payments be paused?

Yes. If a vehicle cannot earn because of a workshop visit, an accident or an impoundment, the schedule can be paused. The rider owes nothing for that period and is not marked late.

How often can a rider be called about a payment?

At most three automated calls a day, between 8am and 8pm, and every attempt re-checks whether the payment already arrived. A rider can opt out of calls at any time.

Data & privacy

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

Identity numbers are shown only as their last four digits, except to AGTrivo administrators, and a BVN is kept only as its last four digits. Passwords are stored as secure hashes and every change is logged. Operator contact details are released only with that operator's consent, for a limited time, and they can withdraw it at any point.

Can my fleet owner use AI to look at my payment record?

Only if they connect an AI assistant to their own AGTrivo account, which is a Pro feature. It can read your payment record and your vehicle, but never your full phone number, identity number, address or bank details, and it cannot record or change anything. See the privacy notice for details.

Which countries does AGTrivo work in?

Nigeria primarily, with support for Ghana and Kenya including local currencies and administrative areas.
